.) There should be a formal apology by the U.S. federal government to the descendants of slaves. As long as it’s made clear that the apology is being made on behalf of the government itself, rather than on behalf of White people toward Black people.

.) There should be slavery reparations in the U.S. But it’s completely fair to insist upon intellectually-honest discussion over how those reparations would be feasibly distributed.

.) I’m a polytheist who believes in multiple deities. I attribute it to Christian/monotheistic power brokers wanting to self-glorify their own religious beliefs.

.) Those who signed the Declaration of Independence were racist and misogynistic by virtue of their exclusions.

.) The textbooks leave out these facts because the publishers want to hide the atrocities of the past in the name of “simplifying” history. The monuments and memorials exist because all humans do good and bad things.

.) The United States and most other nations have failed in upholding a collaborative framework for international law.

.) I find the concept of “American exceptionalism” to be dubious and amorphous. Obviously, no one should be using nuclear weapons since all world leaders know better.

.) Victims/survivors of the Holocaust and the African slave trade & Jim Crow should all be recognized.

.) A racist system run by an elite group of power brokers of European descent.

.) I reject the premise that the United States – or any other country, for that matter – is “the most violent, war-mongering nation/people on Earth.”
