Absolutely! And what's even more harmful is when that person gets to hand out such Kool-Aid in a real-life (in person) group setting. Specifically, if they are an authority figure or they possess some power position of leadership.

This is where a lot of the nuance about the ideas of CRT and/or antiracism is getting lost. My own positions/anxieties, within these last two posts, are MUCH DIFFERENT from those of someone whose agenda is specifically to whitewash history and keep it trapped within a white-supremacist and misogynistic framework.

A friend of mine recently told me I need to be more careful about referring to "the Left" in such a broadly disproportionate way that it creates the assumption that I agree with the MAGA-adjacent stances on so many of these issues. That goes back to what we were talking about, earlier...what a delicate balancing act it is for everyone.
