Agreed. I'm just acknowledging the double-standard that exists throughout the world...how women can be shamed as "sluts" while men can be praised as "players" for the EXACT SAME BEHAVIOR.

But you are right that "player" (or "gigolo") can alternately be used to demean men's sexual behavior, as well. It depends on the agenda of whoever is choosing to wield the pejorative in a specific manner.
