Agreed with you on all of those points -- and I'm a centrist.

The emphasis between now and the end of next year should be loudly delivering the message to Manchin, Sinema, and all other wishy-washy establishment types that common sense legislation needs to be passed no matter what it takes. I've read that Reverend Barber is already working on organized protests/demonstrations that will be awaiting these senators, once they return home from after the summer session.

As far as voter mobilization for the midterms: the Left and the Center should be encouraged by activists to "Demand Better!" This will be a much more effective mantra than "Shut up and just be grateful Trump is gone..."

Democrats need to quit being so mealy-mouthed, and communicate very clearly to the general public *WHY* the provisions of H.R. 1 are so necessary. Give Manchin and Sinema whatever they want, in terms of "pork" and other goodies to take home to their constituents...but make it clear they must get onboard, or else McCarthy/McConnell will be running the show...and both Manchin and Sinema will end up as sacrificial lambs to Republican challengers who run against them when their seats are both up in 2024. (These last several sentences would be made clear to them in private, of course -- while giving them the opportunity to engage in enough political theatre, ahead of time, so they can publicly claim they "tried to negotiate with Republicans in good faith"...)
