Ah, but the question here is...are they basing their arguments on strong evidence (versus anecdotal evidence or cherrypicked evidence)...and/or on feelings, emotions, or intuition?

It's difficult to put generalized hypotheticals into absolutes. Which is why, unlike many of them, I'm willing to admit that I can be wrong.
