Alan -- the intent of "nutric" is to invoke psychological nutrition. Metaphorical vitamins, so to speak.
Male routine circumcisions are always going to be a contentious topic. This is largely due to the fact that it can be done when baby boys are still in their infancy. But, what's the trade-off? A young boy, or a teenaged boy, or a fully-grown adult man, having to be circumcised due to medical necessity when they're able to retain conscious memory of it (including recovery from the healing process)? There's no perfect solution, there.
It's a pretty widely-held belief that conscripting ANYONE into the military is viewed (by many of us) as immoral. I still haven't heard any valid modern-day justification for it.
I don't understand your "gloves off" reference...
My belief is that male hierarchies evolved in the ways they have, over time, in order for specific male actors to remain in power relative to women and "lesser" men. If the sex/gender roles had been flipped, from the beginning of time, I do believe that harmful female-run hierarchies would have eventually developed. The point is that we are where we are now, and it's time for intergender collaboration.
