Although I'm not trans, I think the biggest problem overall with Chapelle's farewell "comedy" special was his tone-deaf embrace of his own iconism ("celebrity privilege" / "comedian privilege") -- not necessarily his distasteful attitudes toward any one group (and he hammered a lot of them!).
