Although you went to school in the 1970s when queer culture was obviously considered very much on the fringes -- if you'd been able to attend a coed school that specifically embraced LGBT+ diversity (possibly a magnet school related to where your individual talents lie), do you think your K-12 experience would have been noticeably improved?
