There is a stigma from many people against hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics (even though I personally love all three of these farming types) -- so it should be noted that, in theory, vertical farms could incorporate soil-based beds & planters INSTEAD OF (or, perhaps, IN ADDITION TO) the "soil-less" forms of agriculture.

That's not even scratching the surface of outdoor-based regenerative agriculture, as you've also touched upon.

We need to shift to an "all-of-the-above" mentality, in terms of solutions.
