Anyone who'd object to the gender-specific term "feminism" is ignoring the historical context of WOMEN being the leaders at the forefront of the movement to achieve gender equality by eradicating misogyny.

There are certainly individuals and/or groups who call themselves "feminists" who simultaneously try to push more nefarious, narcissistic agendas under the moniker of feminism -- but they aren't representative of the (feminist) movement as a whole.
