You're assuming he endured abuse and/or sexual assault, as a child. Maybe he has. But what if he hasn't? Either way, does that diminish any trauma endured by those upon whom he is inflicting that poison? -- regardless of whether he himself is a survivor...or, in contrast, is just an aspiring power-abuser.
