But what if you LEGITIMATELY want to fix a totally accidental typo, after the fact (publication), so your piece looks more professional and doesn't proceed to annoy people who hate typos?
It sounds as though the algorithm cannot distinguish between editing an article to add a chunk of new content versus editing an article to fix one or two minor grammatical typos. Doesn't that put the author in a damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don't position?
