Carmelo -- I agree with most of what you've said: the only point on which I'll disagree is your reference to a "colorblind" approach.
I think the better terms that could be used, for labeling purposes, would be "color-savvy" or "color-conscious." The term "colorblind," although usually not the intent by its user, implies that the systemic, social, and cultural histories of various forms of racism ought to be swept under the rug.
Instead, the focus should be on celebration, inclusion, and self-improvement rather than erasure.
