Carol -- what are your thoughts on the concept of pro-fact, pro-multiculturalism advocates writing "counterlegislation" that essentially rebuts all of this harmful legislation while acknowledging the legitimate anxieties brought up by SOME (of the more rational-minded) parents?

The idea isn't necessarily to get the counterlegislation itself passed (especially if a state has an extremely conservative legislature) as much as it is to shift and reframe the narrative amongst people with differing views who are actually willing to have these debates in good faith.
