Chalking it up to "hurt feelings" is a straw man argument...and very emblematic of what the #hyperwoke Left tends to do -- and, might I add, also a tactic which you yourself have previously spoken out against.

I never said that Joy Behar or anyone else should be denied their free speech. I said they shouldn't feel entitled to that free speech without consequences or repercussions. The overall lack of consequences for Behar, in this context, just illustrates in what skimpy regard too many of the gatekeepers throughout our society hold gay/bisexual men, or sexually-liberated and sexually-nonconforming men in general.

My criticism isn't solely directed at Behar herself. I also criticize the network's (ABC) track record of hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance by letting her (and themselves) off the hook with merely a caress on the wrist.
