Dave -- I agree...but the Democrats have a very thin and precarious majority right now, so that's what I'm hoping will push them to work smarter and more methodically than they did in 2009 and 2010.

Right after Obama's inauguration, many Americans (myself included) allowed ourselves to be lulled into a state of complacency.

I won't be making that mistake again.
