Dr. Moalem might have a compelling case for PHYSIOLOGICAL superiority of women over men (if he's referring primarily to the body's survival resilience), but I don't see how that necessarily translates to "superior intellect" (for people of either biological sex).

Could the good(?) doctor be seeking confirmation bias for his own neofeminist beliefs?
