Even though mine is only a microscopic speck of bacteria compared to Prince Harry's public profile, I never shy away from writing publicly about traumatic and unjust situations/patterns I've experienced throughout my life. Usually, I'll only use people's real first names without their real surname (or, if they're an authority figure, I'll use their actual surname without their actual first name) -- I feel no obligation to change people's names into aliases, because everything I write about is based on truth.
