"Hyperwoke" is distinct enough from "woke" that it draws attention to the extra layer of ridiculousness. But, as far as "woke" ever returning to its original definition -- I fear that ship has already sailed. Now, it's a matter of bridging the general public with folks who embody ACTUAL wokeness -- and distinguishing them from the performance artists and virtue-signalers (e.g., DiAngelo, Dyson, etc.) who are causing exponential harm by digging in their heels as it relates to so-called "wokeness."
