Except "preference" implies that a person is being unduly picky. Facial features and body shape aren't necessarily insurmountable factors for a majority of people, when it comes to relationship possibilities -- so "preference" could be a more fitting term for either of those attributes (although I'd still instinctively shy away from using the word, myself).
