I agree with you that making broad, caricatured generalizations about ANY generational cohort is a big part of the problem, and perhaps at the core of ageism. That's why I tried to hit upon how generational groups will even contain INTRAGROUP DIVERSITY, but that might be a more honed-in subtopic to explore for an upcoming article.
