For all intents and purposes, Selective Service and the military draft are one and the same. At this juncture in American history, they are merely a formality -- and will likely be expunged, eventually.

But, yes, I agree with you that Selective Service & the military draft need to be eliminated -- for EVERYONE. Alongside of a proactive passage of the Equal Rights Amendment (although I suspect that passage of the ERA, in and of itself, would automatically deactivate the Selective Service registry...or force its expansion).
