For Medium users who have subscribed to automated updates on my new content via email list, out of common courtesy I'd want to keep it strictly as Medium-content going to their inboxes -- so this new import feature doesn't sound appealing to me (as a content creator) at all.

If I just leave my settings alone, does that mean people on my email list will simply continue to receive my Medium-related article updates as usual, with no added clutter for them? Or is there some form of "opt-out" that I'm missing, related to this newest feature?
