You may be correct, if you are operating under the premise that cases like this are a minority of instances. I would agree that are more educators who are smarter and better than this (example) than those who aren't. But the ones who overstep still needed to be weeded out.

And then there are "grey areas" from educators that aren't so easily categorized as acceptable or objectionable -- whether it's the lesson plans, or just the verbal rhetoric from the educator themself. Also fair game for debate, vetting, and possible retooling.
