How far are you into the series? (I don't want to spoil anything for you)

I watched all six seasons of "Parenthood" as it was airing. And, while I appreciated the writers' attempts to depict a child character who has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, I felt they did a major disservice to viewers with disabilities (and those without!) by failing to have the entire Braverman extended family properly educate themselves about Asperger's Syndrome. I realize that Adam and Kristina were just learning, themselves; but half the time, it felt as though they didn't make any real effort to understand Max's condition. If they'd bothered to do this, they could have better educated the Braverman cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents about what Max needed...and they never would have made the ridiculous decision to "mainstream him" back into a regular school (a plot development that I found to be absurd, from the get-go), in the first place.
