I agree in the respect that I would like for Tara's articles to be a bit longer, so she could provide better context to the broad ideas she puts out there.
But it's absolutely ridiculous to liken her to Chris Rufo. Just because the two of them may be in agreement about some points doesn't make them partners-in-crime. Rufo is specifically attempting to brand the Republican Party into power, whereas Tara takes a more pluralistic view of the political spectrum.
I disagree, all the time, with individual writers who I believe are making otherwise valid points in their writings. It's called nuance...and we could all stand to practice more of it.
I'm very aware of how White people have corrupted the term "woke" to mutate it away from the original meaning as espoused by the Black community during the Civil Rights Era. But let's not pretend that White conservatives are the only culprits, here. White liberals have participated in their significant share of bad-faith hijacking (in terms of what "wokeness" should/does mean), albeit from totally different angles than their right-wing counterparts.
