I agree with a lot of what you're saying, here. One clarification: Do you believe it's acceptable for the federal government to ban *SOME* ownership of *SOME* types of individual weapons -- AS LONG AS those weapons are narrowly-defined? (because I agree with you that "assault weapon" can potentially be too ambiguous of a term that leaves the policy open to abuse)
