I agree with George Bohan's and Jay Cavanaugh's comments, elsewhere in this thread.
A good starting-point would be to reject the self-fulfilling prophecy that Democrats are DOOOOOMED in 2022/2024 -- and work like hell to tie the worst theocratic patterns of the Republican Party to their downticket candidates, while simultaneously highlighting the beneficial proposals that SOME Democrats have structured.
"The way to stop Republican sabotage *isn't* to elect MORE Republicans."
