I agree with you. But I call out the individual and their ridiculous behavior itself. A majority of Millennials aren't demanding participation trophies. It was our parents (ironically, mostly Boomers) who insisted on them, in the first place, without our consent.

And, yes, I definitely know what you mean about the unwarranted contempt directed against cisgender (although I'm not heterosexual) White men -- in fact, on another Comments Section elsewhere across Medium, I'm currently engaged in a debate against a "Heather" who is trying to insist that members of systemically-oppressed groups ALWAYS have the inherent right to joke about anything toward anyone who happens to belong to a majority group...yet, the inverse ("punching down," as the hyperwoke peanut gallery often tries to frame it) shouldn't apply. She's probably one of the archetypes (if not her as an individual) who has attacked you, in the past.
