I agree with your core sentiments.

But the particular brand of "feminism" that you're describing isn't actually feminism...it's "neofeminism" (some call it "pseudofeminism").

Those who are committing the transgressions you've described aren't doing feminism any favors. They are using it as a brand-based venue to promote their own personal agendas, under the guise of being "feminist" or "empowered."

They are also the minority. But it often feels as though they are the majority (or a plurality) because their voices are so loud and unyielding (magnified by the mainstream media).
