I definitely can relate to how there was a time in my life when I was afraid to tell ANYONE about my homosexuality.

Now, I usually choose to be open about it if it's relevant to the topic we're discussing. I'm fully aware of the potential risk to me, and that risk is always on my mind. But, at a certain point, I decided I'm getting too old to live in fear.
