I don't possess telepathy. If I'm into a dude, *and* if he's likewise into me -- I appreciate some sort of verbal confirmation of that from him, in the event that our flirting and courtship dance seems to be at a stalemate. Or if I'm feeling confident, I could make that first move...but it's scary because you don't want to misread signals or intentions from the object-of-one's-affection.
