I feel that you're gaslighting people who use this term as a pejorative. There is good reason to be critical and skeptical of "wokeness."

I use the terms "woke" (often "hyperwoke") and "political correctness" synonymously. But, to be fair, there *is* certainly a lot of open-ended usage and misappropriation of these terms, floating around out there.
