I go back to "the doctrine of clean hands."

No, Kyle Rittenhouse never had clean hands in this scenario.

But neither did the members of the mob who chased after him -- let alone the man who tried to physically disarm Kyle Rittenhouse.

The deaths are sad and were preventable. But that doesn't change the reality that EVERYONE involved could have prevented themselves from being in those positions, in the first place.

Common sense tells you that if you see someone wielding a weapon out in the open, it's a potential suicide mission if you attempt to jump them and take the gun away. The rational behaviors are either: A.) run in the other direction, particularly if the person carrying the weapon hasn't spotted you; B.) take cover in a hiding spot, if possible.
