I hope I can represent the LGBT community well when I say this...language matters. If by "prejudice" you are referring to someone harboring a disdainful ATTITUDE toward Queer people, then I'd agree with your reference.

Once any prejudice becomes actionable or behavioral, it morphs into bigotry and (eventually) discrimination...or an "-ism." I'd imagine that most Queer people care the most about how we are TREATED by heterosexual and/or cisgender folks -- and your allyship is definitely appreciated here, Raafeke!

When it comes to homophobia or the broader problem of orientationism: we can't cure everyone of their/our prejudices...but we can shift the dynamic so that we all begin humanizing one another.
