I love this piece, Thomas! And, regarding the Gilette ad...when I first saw it, I thought it was sending a brave and nurturing message that men need to lift each other up rather than tear each other down -- but I can see why many men would view it in the opposite way, when they've been conditioned to view their masculinity along rigid binary lines.
