I support slavery reparations, but not as arbitrary checks to individuals. It's more a matter of "how they should be implemented," not "if they should be implemented."
The money should be specifically designated for funding programs that make systemic changes, and the programs themselves should be overseen by Black professionals who are experts in the field that each program is designed to address (e.g. housing credits, higher education stipends, educational disparities, helping Black-owned businesses flourish, etc.)
