I suspect certain people (including some who've commented on this thread) have given up all hope of ever improving or advancing -- so, they feel their only shot at reclaiming any power is by controlling the entire narrative. These are the cases where so-called "antiracism" -- which could be an enlightening and empowering concept -- gets warped by them.
