I think it's generous and kind-hearted if you do it because you genuinely like her and value her. I would assume it's based on a prolonged interaction you've had with her -- rather than someone whom you've just met for the first time?

What I'm saying is it's misandrist for people to automatically expect such behavior from every male person in any scenario. In my view, it doesn't matter how many pounds of weight a guy can lift over his head -- if a woman (or girl) isn't treating him as her equal, then he has zero obligation to cater to her.
