I think people should date (and engage in courtship with) whatever type of person they want to be with. But everyone should be upfront about their expectations...or they're going to end up severely disappointed.
I'm perhaps a "super-outlier" -- regarding this issue -- in that I'm gay and only date other men (as would be lesbian women who only date other women). But I could never imagine forming a long-term relationship with a potential mate/spouse/lover who expected *ME* to pay for dinners and activities by default. Similarly, I'd never go on a date with another guy EXPECTING him to pay for me (even if he was the one who'd asked me out / invited me).
But, if heterosexual/bisexual men are fine with being treated like human ATM machines, more power to them...I guess?
