I think the biggest takeaway should be that whiteness (or, perhaps more pointedly, the fetishization and/or outright favoritism of whiteness) is a central pillar that structurally-supports white supremacy.

We should all strive to be "color-savvy," "color-conscious," or "color-appreciative" -- not "colorblind."
