I was told that, at least in Wisconsin, a mjaority of public schools didn't include Driver's Ed as a credited course required (in most cases) for graduation. Our school, apparently, was an abberation -- compared to most schools that offered Driver's Ed resources to students and their parents, but didn't actually feature it as part of the academic curriculum.
