I'm a dude slightly over 5'10", and I've always been self-conscious about my height. Wishing I was between 5'11"-6'2". This had nothing to do with any desire to pick up women, as I am gay. Rather, it was related to my jealousy and my inability to bond with other guys.

Eventually, I stopped beating myself up over it. I realized that any male friend who is worth my time and brotherhood won't hold my height against me in terms of friendship.
