I'm assuming the handlers were there to make sure that contestants couldn't socialize to form pre-game alliances? Also, were Dick, Jessica, Dustin, and other potential corresponding rivals (in contention during the finals) having their interviews conducted in a totally separate hotel?

I wonder if this process has changed, over the years? Given so many of the psychos who have weasleed their way into various casts, over the years -- you'd wonder how they managed to get past this stage of casting!
