I'm basing my assessment on all of the trash I read from the same grifters and provocateurs...and all of the claps and comments they're racking up.

Some of that is probably from those of them who've built large followings over the years...but I have no doubt a lot of their traffic is being filtered straight to them by Medium's curators...which means that Medium is complicitly enabling noise and misinformation.
