I'm gay, White, and male -- and I've endured a lot of the same problems that you have, in life. I think everyone needs to begin looking at privilege a lot more holistically -- embrace the concept of intersectionality, and every single one of us should be mindful of the areas of our lives in which we possess privilege as well as the areas of our lives in which we've experienced discrimination and trauma.
