I'm in an odd situation, as I am sometimes viewed by people as a "masculine-passing" gay man (they seem shocked when learning about my homosexuality)...but, almost just as often, a totally different half of the population seems to know I'm gay (really good "gaydar," on their part?) before I can even confirm it for them.
I've definitely had femmephobia directed at me, in K-12 and college especially. And I guess that has impelled me to feel affinity and solidarity with other people who exhibit (what's viewed by society as) "feminine" traits.
I definitely agree that LGBT people need to love each other (and ourselves), rather than defining one another along some masculine/feminine binary.
