I'm sure it would bother me, too -- if I belonged to a congregation and they continued to reject me.

My only point is that church beliefs shouldn't be something that's regulated legislatively. Obviously, on a MORAL level, I wish that members of any organized religion who hold orientationist beliefs would open their minds and hearts beyond the indoctrination.
