In my view, this element (if presented as a universalized reference) would just make things worse. It would encourage people to "rank oppressions" and then leverage those identities against one another.

Maybe a better option would be to have a quantitative device where THE INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE could assign comparative values to her or his varying attributes. But what we SHOULDN'T do is assume it's the same for EVERYBODY.

Interestingly enough, when I scored myself using raw values, using your methodology: I ended up with a Diversity Score of 4.5 out of 9 -- which seems fitting, since I find myself situated in the ideological middle so often in life. I gave myself half a point (0.5) for being Millennial/younger, due to the obvious (but downplayed by many) stigmas that my generation faces.
