Indeed. In Jodi's case, I feel she is trying to specifically elevate the voices of students who are BIPOC and/or female (and, in *some* cases, who are LGBT+).

So, either intentionally or subconsciously, she relegates class oppression and class privilege to a lower rung on the metaphorical "Oppression Olympics" totem pole -- as a way of subversively saying "Count your blessings!" to working-class & middle class White male students/people (including those of us who are gay/bisexual/transgender).
